Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

WozPolls (“we”, “us”) provides a platform for creating and responding to polls and surveys. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information — when you sign up, we collect your first name, last name, email address, city, and country.
  • Authentication data — your password is handled and stored securely by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store it ourselves.
  • Content you create — polls, surveys, sections, and the responses you submit to them.
  • Session data — a secure session cookie that keeps you signed in.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To operate core features — creating polls/surveys and recording responses.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
  • To communicate with you about your account, if needed.

How we store and share information

Account and poll data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore). We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers (such as Firebase) as needed to run WozPolls, or where required by law.

Public content

Polls and surveys you create, and the display name attached to them, may be visible to anyone with the link, including people who are not signed in. Individual poll responses are only shown in aggregate unless you choose to make them otherwise visible.

Your choices

You can update your account details from your account page, or contact us to request that your account and associated data be deleted.

Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date above.
